About Us
The International Circassian Political Committee (ICPC) is an international Circassian organization established to advance the political, historical, cultural, and collective rights of the Circassian people worldwide. Guided by the principles of democracy, human rights, international law, and Circassian Khabze, the ICPC works to strengthen international awareness of the Circassian cause and to promote the legitimate aspirations of the Circassian Nation through peaceful and democratic means.
The ICPC emerged from the growing need for a coordinated global Circassian political platform in the aftermath of major geopolitical developments affecting the Circassian homeland and diaspora. Bringing together Circassians from different countries, the organization was founded to advocate for justice, historical recognition, and the future development of Circassia while strengthening cooperation among Circassian communities around the world.
The ICPC aims to represent Circassian interests on the international stage, advocate for the recognition of the Circassian Genocide, and defend the collective rights of the Circassian people. Through peaceful and democratic means, the ICPC works to strengthen ties among Circassian diaspora communities worldwide and to contribute to the future development and prosperity of Circassia.
The organization supports the recognition of the Circassian Genocide, the protection of the Circassian language and cultural heritage, the right of return to the historical homeland, and the right of peoples to self-determination in accordance with international law. At the same time, the ICPC promotes dialogue, diplomacy, academic cooperation, and international engagement with governments, civil society organizations, scholars, and human rights institutions.
The ICPC operates on the principles of transparency, accountability, pluralism, and inclusive representation. It seeks to unite Circassians from diverse political, cultural, and regional backgrounds under a common commitment to justice, national dignity, and democratic values. The organization also places strong emphasis on youth empowerment, education, historical memory, and cultural continuity to ensure that future generations remain connected to their identity and heritage.
